Public Review Draft of the 2019-2027 Housing Element Available Now
San Andreas, CA...The Public Review Draft of the 2019-2027 Housing Element is available for review and comment at the Planning Department, 754 Mountain Ranch Road, San Andreas, during normal business hours, or online at http://planning.calaverasgov.us/Gen-Plan-Zoning/Housing-Element.
The Housing Element is one of the seven state mandated elements of the Calaveras County General Plan and provides the framework to address the existing and projected housing needs of all economic segments of the community. Under state law, the Housing Element must analyze issues of housing availability, affordability, and the needs within the community. In addition, the Housing Element seeks to set goals, policies, and implementation programs to address those issues.
The HCD review period will be from April 1 through June 1 (approx.), but we ask that all public comment is received by May 14, 2019.
