First Congregational Church of Murphys to Host African Dinner, Silent Auction and Festivities to Benefit Youth
Murphys, CA....Come join us at the First Congregational Church of Murphys on April 12th to celebrate African culture with delicious African Cuisine, African Stories told by Cynthia Restivo of the Storyquilters, and a special opportunity to paint a Tents of Hope to be sent to the refugees of Darfur. The youth will offer a large selection of silent auction items. Put this event on your calendar, you won't want to miss it....
What: African Dinner, Silent Auction, & Festivities
Paint a "Tents of Hope" for refugees of Darfur
Cost: $10 adults, $5 under 12 years old
Where: First Congregational Church in Murphys
(corner of Church and Algiers)
When: April 12th, 4:30-7:30
Who: You are invited!
Why: To raise money for the youth to go to Tennessee to the National Youth Event, and the Caring Kids Club to continue with their on-going service projects.
