Congratulations! It's really nice to see some of our youth win this! My late mother was a school teacher years ago and she would have been proud of you. Keep up the good work! Steven R Smith

Bigotry is taught, now it all makes sense steven your mother was a teacher and she did well. Lol its too bad she could raise a decent human being after bringing it into this world. She must have been a peach!

Let me tell you something-Us humans all lead our own separate lives and Mom and I had our own separate lives. Mom did the best she could with me. When we are born, we are free agents and when we reach adulthood we all have that freedom of choice. I made the big mistake of drinking alcoholically and drug abuse (what you would call dual addiction and the drugs all started with weed as a GATEWAY DRUG and there really wasn't that much educational programs back in the day about drug abuse and drug prevention like there is now. So it's no one's fault but my own and I have atoned for my sins-the greatest amends I did for my mother before she died was her knowing that I cleared my name after doing my time (this one last time) and I am now clean and sober-for every 24 hours (as mentioned in programs like AA and NA) and smoke-free. My mom (late) and I were talking once and she said that she wished she was more well educated on substance abuse back in the day when I started all this and she and Dad probably would have me put in a 30 day rehab program. Of course what I would do after that was up to me. And I'm sure they had them then-just not as much. So tell me something I don't know! People can talk "smack" to me and insult me all they want on these comments, and I won't back down! It's called freedom of speech. I am not afraid to face Judgement Day. Are you?

Let me tell you something-I know all about mental health, dealing with it and know all about drug/alcohol rehab programs. I have even read books on psychology as well as a lot of literature on the drawbacks and effects of ALL DRUGS (illicit that is except prescribed drugs). Maybe you're the one who needs the help. May I also add that I can say as much as I want about any nice cultural or community events this county offers and discussing history and comment about what my folks did up here in our county in their Golden Years. Then contributed a lot to this county with a lot of volunteer work, etc. and I bet as I'm typing this some of their old friends living are reading this and agree with everything I have to say! Good day!
