Another Drunk Mother DUI in Sonora. This One 4 Times Legal Limit

Sonora, CA...Around 1:45pm on May 21st, Sonora PD received a call of a non injury two vehicle accident in the area of E Lyons St and S Stewart St. Officers responded and contacted Kimberly Smock, age 33 of Sonora, who was driving one of the involved vehicles. It was determined that Smock was driving under the influence with a blood alcohol limit over 4x the legal limit. Smock had her children, ages 4 and 6, in the vehicle with her. She was subsequently arrested and booked into Tuolumne County Jail for DUI and Felony Child Endangerment. The children were unharmed and released to a family member.

Previous to this contact Smock was in the area of Arco AM/PM on Pesce way, she collided with another vehicle in that area and then left. The other vehicle has not been identified. If you have information please contact Sonora PD.

Special thank you to Viney's Italian Kitchen for providing food and drinks to the children involved while waiting for a family member to arrive.

Being in jail with a bunch of democrats should sober her up quickly. Heck, she'll never drink again.

It didn’t happen yesterday. It occurred on the 21st.
And what do you mean by “another drunk mother?” The second DUI you’re referencing happened AFTER this one; “another” can only apply to this second offender, not the first.
You need to pay closer attention to facts, rather than aspiring to create attention-seeking headlines.
These kinds of journalistic errors make you look incompetent and stupid.

I’m sure she’s not feeling so this morning but she is fortunate indeed. Wrecked cars, court costs, insurance increases are all stressful but they will pass and just stuff. She could have killed her kids, hersel or others and been one more cross with tacky fake flowers on the side of the highway. Hope this will be her “bottom”, gets help and makes up her mind that today is the day she stops drinking.

On the button, but as this former attic, alcoholic knows it's up to her. With kids in the car, multiple fender benders she hopefully will see she's pretty much hit rock bottom. Find your higher power Mam, he's there waiting for you.

Then you also know there’s always another, worse bottom possible. I also hope this is your wake up call, ma’m, because it can get worse.

I think someone should open up a Go Fund Me so she'll have money for her drinking habit.

With a comment like that it's apparent you've hit the bottom.
