Introducing Harmony Life House in Murphys!
Murphys, CA...Harmony Life House, a new faith-based community outreach center is now open in Murphys, CA. Located next to the Pizza Plus in the Sierra Hills Center will host a Premier Event on April 25th at 7pm. “Harmony Life House will meet the needs of emerging generations through life coaching, mentoring, benevolence, crisis intervention and spiritual connectedness,” said Paula Shearer, team leader. “The vision of Harmony Life House is to impact the post-modern through a life changing relationship with Jesus,” said Shearer. “Many in this younger generation are searching for spiritual meaning in their lives. We want them to....
know the One who gives the power to free them from fear, addiction, depression or loneliness.” Shearer said.
Steve Klann, co- leader said, “our dream is to serve the community through various outreach efforts that include Friday night concerts and outreach evangelism, classes on overcoming addictions, marriage and parenting, life skills, and of course, teaching the message of Jesus. All of our services and classes will be free and child care will be provided.”
The first event, Friday night April 25 at 7pm, will feature Jeff and Meljoné Rostocil, a young couple from the Bay Area who travel the world and have seen God do many miracles and healings in various cities and foreign countries. Paula Shearer and the House Band will be playing.
Harmony Life House also wants to meet the needs of the growing Hispanic community with help in practical ways like teaching English and encouraging integration and community involvement. There are plans in the works for Hispanic concerts and outreach events als0.
Long range plans include an adult-supervised teen center, a 24/7 prayer room and a crisis hotline.
Harmony Life House plans to operate in a non-denominational manner. Shearer said, “We welcome people from all faiths to come and participate in our activities. Our desire is to work cooperatively with the community and area churches. Harmony Life was co-founded by local residents, Tim and Paula Shearer and Steve and Claudia Klann.
