Murphys Man & Columbia Woman Arrested on Drug & Other Charges
Sonora, CA...Tuesday night a Sheriff’s Deputy pulled over a Ford Escape on Jamestown Road for a broken license plate light. A records check was conducted of the driver, 43-year-old Brian Lancaster of Murphys and his passenger, 37-year-old Marshae Wolf of Columbia. Lancaster and Wolf both had a suspended driver’s license. K9 Zeus conducted a sniff of the vehicle and alerted to the presence of narcotics. A search of the vehicle turned up a collapsible baton, a digital scale, packaging materials, and nearly 7 grams of methamphetamine. Wolf was also found in possession of methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia hidden on her person.
Lancaster and Wolf were arrested and booked into the Tuolumne County Jail for possession and transportation of a controlled substance for sale. Lancaster was also booked for possession of a dangerous weapon, driving on a suspended license and having a broken license plate light.
Wolf was additionally charged with possession of drug paraphernalia and bringing drugs into the jail when nearly 5 grams of heroin was found hidden on her.
