San Andreas, CA....We had the great pleasure of sitting down with District 1 Supervisor Candidate, Zerrall McDaniel of San Andreas this morning. She has lived in Calaveras County for 48 years. She is a local business owner and is very active in her community. We taped our chat at Turner Park in San Andreas as Zerrall believes strongly in the value of our parks and applauds the creation of the Parks & Rec Department last year....
The next Supervisor from District One in Calaveras County must be experienced and prepared to work long hours, reach out, and bring people together to find common ground.
The problems facing District One, Public Safety, Jobs & Housing, & Inadequate Infrastructure have been a long time in the making. It will take commitment and credibility to find solutions that build the healthy, vibrant communities we all want.
I believe in personal responsibility, fiscal responsibility, and good citizenship. Supervisors should tell the truth, follow the law, and listen to the citizens they represent.
I promise I will bring all the energy and passion that has characterized my whole life to the job of Supervisor.

My son, Cale Silva is married, lives in Dublin, California, and is in the United States Coast Guard's MSST Unit in Alameda, CA.
I have a granddaughter, Jaedyn Silva who is seven years old.
