Another Round of Marijuana Grow Eradications in Mountain Ranch Area

San Andreas, CA...On 10/17/2019, the Calaveras County Sheriff’s Office Marijuana Enforcement Unit served three search warrants onto three separate locations in Mountain Ranch for illegal marijuana cultivation. The locations searched were neighboring properties to each other.




Location 1:
6900 block of South Railroad Flat Road, Mountain Ranch. Deputies eradicated 100 growing marijuana plants and seized approximately 6 pounds of processed marijuana. No suspects were located at the site, however, evidence was collected at the scene and the investigation is ongoing.

Location 2:
7000 block of South Railroad Flat Road, Mountain Ranch. Deputies eradicated 291 growing marijuana plants and seized 294.82 pounds of processed marijuana. No suspects were located at the site, however, evidence was located which appeared to connect this location to the third search warrant location, also on South Railroad Flat Road.

Location 3:
7000 block of South Railroad Flat Road, Mountain Ranch. Deputies eradicated 170 growing marijuana plants. Additionally, Deputies seized 824.16 pounds of processed marijuana and two firearms. The firearms consisted of a semi-automatic handgun and a rifle with an altered pistol grip (see photos). 10 suspects were arrested at the site and 4 children were taken into protective custody by CPS. Deputies located 8 adults and one juvenile who were actively processing marijuana in a converted garage. Two other adults were located in the primary residence along with several children.

Armando Alvarado Pacheco, age 29 of Arteaga, Michoacán, Mexico, Jaime Alvarado Pacheco, age 24 of Arteaga, Michoacán, Mexico, Javier Alvarado Pacheco, age 27 of Lazaro Cardenas, Michoacán, Mexico, Sergio Alvarado, age 31 of Moses Lake, Washington, Alejandro Camacho, age 30 of Kansas City, Kansas, and Goben Izazaga Guillen, age 30 of Quincy, Washington, were booked into the Calaveras Jail on charges of 11366.5 H&S Managing a Drug House and 182 PC Conspiracy to Commit Crime.

Enfain Ortega Cruz, age 54 of Aquila, Michoacán, Mexico, and Yolanda Villalobos Vareaz, age 51 of Aquila, Michoacán, Mexico, were booked into the Calaveras Jail on charges of 11366.5 H&S Managing a Drug House, 182 PC Conspiracy to Commit Crime, 273A (A) PC Willful Cruelty to a Child which could Result in Injury or Death, and 273G PC Immoral Acts in a Child’s Presence.

Juan Lombera, age 53 of Mountain Ranch, and Adelaida Villalobos, age 33 of Mountain Ranch, were booked into the Calaveras Jail on charges of 11358 H&S Illegal Marijuana Cultivation, 11359 H&S Possession of Marijuana for Sale, 11366 H&S Maintaining a Drug House, 11366.5 Managing a Drug House, 182 PC Conspiracy to Commit Crime, 273A (A) PC Willful Cruelty to a Child which could Result in Injury or Death, and 273G PC Immoral Acts in a Child’s Presence.
