Major Injuries to Sonora Man in Pickup vs Pedestrian Collision on Hwy 49
Sonora, CA...On November 15, 2019, at approximately 6:28pm, 63-year-old Leorra Coville of Sonora was driving her 2012 Dodge pick-up northbound on State Route 49 north of Pesce Way at approximately 35 miles per hour. At that same time, 39-year-old Nicholas Graham of Sonora was walking on the right shoulder of northbound State Route 49 north of Pesce Way. For undetermined reasons, Mr. Graham suddenly entered the northbound lane directly in front of Ms. Colville’s vehicle. Ms. Colville was unable to avoid Mr. Graham and the front of her vehicle struck him. Mr. Graham sustained major injuries as a result of the collision and he was transported by ground ambulance to Adventist Health Sonora.
After arriving to Adventist Health Sonora, he was immediately medi-flighted to Memorial Hospital in Modesto.
Ms. Coville did not suffer any injuries as a result of the collision. This collision is still under investigation. Alcohol and/or drugs are not determined to be a factor.

Just be glad we still have Drs and hospitals here. Many rural areas are now healthcare deserts

My understanding is that is a method of committing suicide. I hope that’s not the case but either way Here’s hoping for a speedy recovery and ease of mind for the driver as well.

He shouldn't have been walking on the shoulder of Hwy 49 at night. It would be very hard to see someone walking on the shoulder of the Hwy. The driver says that the pedestrian walked in front of the vehicle but did he or was she not paying attention to her driving.

A way of committing suicide? Just wear a MAGA 2020 hat, some Democrat loser and felon will probably shoot you before the days over.
