Almost 300 Served at The 12th Annual Ebbetts Pass Moose Lodge Community Thanksgiving Dinner

Arnold, CA...On Thanksgiving the Ebbetts Pass Moose Lodge once again, served up served up FREE Thanksgiving Dinners for the Community. No reservations are needed and lmost 300 enjoyed a great meal with their friends, family and community members. In addition to the diners at the Moose Lodge 55 meals were delivered to community members at their homes.

There were touching stories about those they delivered to and you could tell that the Moose Lodge delivered more than Thanksgiving Dinner they also delivered the holiday spirit along with the meals.

Starting on the Monday before Thanksgiving they started the 40 turkeys, 150 lbs of potatoes, deserts and more. Turkey, mash potatoes & gravy, stuffing, green bean casserole, yams, cranberry sauce, pies and apple crumble dessert were on the menu.

When we stopped by and saw the happy faces of not only those getting served but also the servers it reminded us yet again of what great communities we have in our area.

The Ebbetts Pass Moose Lodge is a vital part of the community infrastructure in our area. They are installing a 25kw generator so that if there are PSPS Power Outages, fires or other natural disasters in our area that can be fully functional to provide a warm safe space with food and more if need be.

Over $3,500 was donated form the community and $2,000 of that came from a Law Enforcement group in the Bay Area. Thank You to the Moose Lodge for all you do!!

Contact the Lodge At 209-795-1112.
