Twain Harte, CA...On December 11, 2019 at approximately 4:50pm, a 26-year-old female from Twain Harte was driving her 2008 Subaru, with her 1-year-old male juvenile passenger from Twain Harte, on eastbound State Route 108, preparing to make a left turn onto Twain Harte Drive. At that same time, 70-year-old Patrick Vierra of Twain Harte was driving his 2012 Infiniti, with passenger 61-year-old Sandra Vierra of Twain Harte, on westbound State Route 108, east of Twain Harte Drive. All the occupants from the vehicle that had caught fire were removed and treated for their injuries. Mr. Vierra’s vehicle traveled northwest and came to rest within the shoulder of State Route 108 and Twain Harte Drive.

The female driver sustained major injuries and was transported by ground ambulance to Memorial Hospital in Modesto, CA. Her passenger also sustained major injuries and was transported by ground ambulance to Adventist Health Sonora then transported to UC Davis Medical Center for treatment. Mr. Vierra sustained moderate injuries as a result of the collision and was transported by ground ambulance to Adventist Health Sonora.
