Vandalism to Utility Payment Drop Box at City Hall

Angels Camp, CA...The Utility Payment Drop Box located in the parking lot of City Hall was vandalized sometime between Friday, January 10, 2020 and Monday, January 13, 2020. It is unknown if any payments were stolen because there were some payments still in the box.

If you dropped a payment in the Utility Payment Drop Box this weekend, please contact City Hall and confirm the receipt of your payment.

Angels Camp City Hall
584 South Main Street
Angels Camp, CA 95222
209-736-2181

If your payment was stolen out of the Utility Payment Drop Box:

• Contact your financial institution and stop payment on the check and rep ort the check as stolen
• Report any unusual activity on your bank account to your financial institution
• Monitor your credit reports for signs of identity theft

City Hall offers the following suggestions as more secure alternatives to dropping your payment in the Utility Payment Drop Box:

• Mail your check

Like it wasn't bad enough that the governor is calling every degenerate to the state, the stupervisors have called them into the county.

Just curious, thepinetree reports, well copy and paste, an accident 50miles away in another county but doesn't report an 18 year old student who brings a stolen and loaded hand gun to a school?

Man, I sure hope John, that you get that help you so desperately are in dire need of.

Democrat criminal from Jamestown on the run.

Another Democrat POS ran from the law, so check our other news provider from across the river. The POS looks familiar, no doubt his mugshote has been up before.
John, that's why when you copy and post you should also copy the mugshot so your readers might be able to call Deputy Dog. Their jobs are tough enough with our DA and Judges letting out criminals with minimum bail, time after time.

Wouldn't be so quick to blame this incident on outsiders. The donation box at the White Pines Logging Museum is vandalized on a regular basis and many believe by locals.

Yep-could be a lot of locals doing this who are up to no good! We citizens need to band together in each little neighborhood and develop some type of Neighborhood Watch system. Work collectively like in shifts watching out for your neighbor. There is a good example of this: the Next Door Greeenhorn girls. I think the Greenhorn Girls are a branch of Next Door that originated in Angels Camp and report to each other (and LE) of any suspicious activities in the area and things like folks speeding through the streets there and taking plate #'s. We all need to be proactive folks. This is an ongoing battle and just because one guy/girl is caught that the problem is solved. It seems like there is always someone to take his/her place. It's like an epidemic going on here especially with all these folks high on drugs and then they just want to steal and they'll steal anything-even a broom!

Greenhorn Creek is full of transplants with adult loser children. They bring it on themselves. Since they like to flaunt their money, why don't they just hire their own security patrol?

Excuse me but I've been around here for a while and I believe that there are some of those folks (Greenhorn girls or whoever) who have roots here. I can remember when the subdivision was all open country years ago and there were some local established folks (from way back) who bought their property and built there. And I bet most of them are very reputable people so think twice before you comment!
