Mornings with the One Percent™ Was 9 till Noon Today...Country Covid 19 Update, Preparedness & More in Replays

Arnold, CA…(This morning's replay has the full Calaveras Board of Supervisors Meeting for today & more.) Mornings with the One Percent™ is live weekday mornings from 7-10am. The premise for the show is that the USDA ranked all 3,142 counties or county equivalents in the USA on a livability or desirability scale based on factors such as climate, scenic beauty, bodies of water for recreation, humidity and much more. All of our area ranked not only in the top one percent but in the top one half of one percent. So in the ups and downs of daily life remember you don’t have to be a Gates, Buffett or Bezos to live like the one percent. Just live here!

Now turn off Fox News, pour out your coffee mixed with rum, throw away that open can of bud light, and take a hike....or drive to the bay and enjoy Oakland!...but keep smoking your cigarettes, they help derail your immune system. Gotta’ love that greasy tar from the tobacco.

“The U.S. military says it has provided some form of limited support to the Taliban in fighting ISIS elements in Afghanistan. This revelation comes as American troops are beginning to withdraw from the country as part of a still very fragile deal that the U.S. government signed with the —’terrorist group‘ — last month.”

“There is also the distinct possibility of increased domestic opposition to the deal with the Taliban following McKenzie's remarks. Republicans, as well as Democrats, have criticized the Trump Administration over its dealings with the [ terrorist group ] already.”

Everything Trump does is for show and with little lasting value.

Historical Bargains with terrorists we fought against!!!...This is absurd.

“On September 20, President Bush, in an address to Congress, demanded the Taliban deliver bin Laden and other suspected terrorists and destroy the al-Qaeda bases.”

On the same day, a grand council of over 1,000 Muslim clerics from across Afghanistan, which had convened to decide bin Laden's fate, issued a fatwa expressing sadness for the deaths in the 9/11 attacks, recommending that the Islamic Emirate "persuade" bin Laden to leave their country, and calling on the United Nations and the Organisation of Islamic

Cooperation to conduct an independent investigation of "recent events to clarify the reality and prevent harassment of innocent people".

The fatwa went on to warn that should the United States not agree with its decision and invade Afghanistan, "jihad becomes an order for all Muslims."

However, on the same day the Taliban ambassador to Pakistan said: "We will neither surrender Osama bin Laden nor ask him to leave Afghanistan." These maneuvers were dismissed by the US as insufficient.

You just gave yourself up Citidiot. Enjoy OAKLAND? No sane person would be going anywhere near the Bay Area, especially now! You find it so enjoyable, please move yourself back there.

@Mr. Racist...Yeah sure....I doubt you are still eating Collard Greens and Black Eyed Peas. Maybe Fried Chicken and Grape Soda. For sure you are eating Twinkies and Ding Dongs washed down with some Codeine Cough Syrup you stole from your old neighbor.

A California prison warden left his job last fall after he stole from an Amador County thrift store, according to a California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation investigation.

Former Mule Creek State Prison warden Joe Lizarraga, 56, of Fair Oaks, retired in September while he was being investigated for theft and an attempted cover-up, according to a corrections department report

The Sacramento Bee recently obtained under the California Public Records Act.

Lizarraga was making about $150,000 per year, according to The Sacramento Bee’s state worker pay database.

When he left the job, he received $433,000 in unused vacation, leave time, holiday and weekend pay and other special pay he had accrued.

Lizarraga worked at four other state prisons, starting as a correctional officer at San Quentin State Prison in 1986, before he started as a chief deputy administrator at Mule Creek in 2011, according to Simas.

Sounds like a Trump tweet but in Russia they know it’s true.

Russian President Vladimir Putin revealed his tightly guarded political plans Tuesday and supported a constitutional amendment that would allow him to seek reelection in 2024 by restarting the term count.

The constitutional change would pave the way for the 67-year-old Putin to stay in office until 2036, if he desires.
