Approximately 12,000 PG&E Customers Still Powerless. Amador 459, Calaveras 2,163 & Tuolumne 470

Arnold, CA...The latest from PG&E..."As of 7 a.m. today (Thursday, March 19), approximately 12,000 PG&E customers are without power due to the storm. These customers are primarily in Nevada, Placer, El Dorado, Sierra, Amador, Calaveras and Tuolumne counties. We know that some customers have been without power for some time. We understand the hardship of this situation and want those customers to know our crews are working safely and as quickly as possible to restore their power. More than 150 PG&E crews are working to restore power in these regions. Crews continue to work as conditions allow and areas become accessible with more crews on the way.

Low-elevation and often heavy snow results in many trees falling into PG&E’s electric equipment, causing significant damage and resulting in outages.

Just head to Murphy’s if you’re in need of a drink 🥃, happy hour is the same time along with more drink specials, we have one called the Coronavirus 🤒, we want everyone to get it, on the house!, if that doesn’t satisfy you, stay for dinner 🤮, word has it that one of our kitchen staff 👨🏼‍🍳 tested positive, and if you still feel lucky you can stay later when we open up the back room for gambling again!, 🎰🎲

Clear cut the easements or bury the lines is the only solution

Couldn’t agree more with Laying the lines underground! Big expense upfront but greatly diminishes the need for tree removal and the cost associated with it.

In all fairness, there are other Murphys restaurants besides the hotel staying open for in-house dining. Also, a ton in Tuolomne County. despite state guidelines.

This doesn't seem right. There are many more without power in Dorrington than the 21 listed.

    Clear Right of Ways

PG&E once again shows it's clearance rules are a joke, but it is not funny.

As with home clearances- you can keep vegetation near your home, and have it burn in a wild fire, or you can clear the vegetation , it is up to you. The same with PG&E.

The 12 foot rule the foresters use to mark trees as per PG&E rules is a sorry joke.
PG&E is not willing to spend the $ to have adequate clearances.

You can have your trees, or you can have power and reduced fire chances YOU CAN'T HAVE BOTH.

My Dorrington property is cleared but we can't trim near power lines. This one is on PG&E not doing what we can to be responsible home owners.
