The Latest COVID-19 Numbers for State of California 13,438 Cases, 319 Deaths

Sacramento, CA...The California Department of Public Health today announced the most recent statistics on COVID-19. California now has 13,438 confirmed cases and 319 deaths. As of April 4, local health departments have reported 197 confirmed positive cases in health care workers. For more information on COVID-19 and California's response visit the California Department of Public Health website.

Testing in California
As of April 4, approximately 131,500 tests had been conducted in California. At least 116,563 results have been received and another 15,000 are pending. These numbers include data California has received from commercial, private and academic labs, including Quest, LabCorp, Kaiser, University of California and Stanford, and the 22 state and county health labs currently testing.

How People Can Protect Themselves
Every person has a role to play. Protecting yourself and your family comes down to common sense:

  • Staying home except for essential needs/activities.
  • Practicing social distancing.
  • Washing hands with soap and water for a minimum of 20 seconds.
  • Avoiding touching eyes, nose or mouth with unwashed hands.
  • Covering a cough or sneeze with your sleeve, or disposable tissue. Wash your hands afterward.
  • Avoiding close contact with people who are sick.
  • Staying away from work, school or other people if you become sick with respiratory symptoms like fever and cough.
  • Following guidance from public health officials.

What to Do if You Think You're Sick
Call ahead: If you are experiencing symptoms of COVID-19 (fever, cough or shortness of breath) and may have had contact with a person with COVID-19, or recently traveled to countries with apparent community spread, call your health care provider before seeking medical care so that appropriate precautions can be taken.

More information about what Californians can do to prevent the spread of COVID-19 is available at www.covid19.ca.gov.

California continues to issue guidance on preparing and protecting California from COVID-19. Consolidated guidance is available at www.cdph.ca.gov/covid19guidance.

Hey Neighbors:

I normally stock up a few masks for wildfire smoke season. I always try to have a few N95 masks, but buy more of the lighter ones. The N95's are very hard to breathe through, and tire you out quickly, especially if you are doing anything physical.

I always try to by U.S.A. but we have issues with supply. I went to this Chinese site that I have used in the past if I cant find what I need in the U.S.A. Be aware that the free shipping is on the slow boat from China and takes a couple of weeks. You can pay for shipping and tracking, but who knows how much faster now. I bought some masks and then I saw this:

Antibody Detection Kit for Novel Coronavirus Prevention 3pcs+Disposable Antiviral Non Woven Mask 50pcs

I SUGGEST YOU GET A BOX (50 MASKS) OF THESE BECAUSE THEY HAVE SOFTER LESS IRRITATING EAR STRAPS:

OR A BOX OF THESE (50 MASKS):

If you really want something stronger these:

Oh and then....I just went back and picked up a couple of these Guy Fawkes Vendetta Mask from another seller, for our hopefully coming Revolution.

I wish you peace and the Best of Luck, stay healthy and well.

Last time I checked these numbers, the figures were different and now they have changed. I was actually looking for some content about the best CBD oil when I got to that post. I don’t know what figures to actuallt believe.

if a mask is disposable and reuseable then it is a very good mask. People are looking from where they can get a disposable face mask so that they will not get affected by a coronavirus. I will share some suggestions on the website.
