Governor's Guidance for Business Reopening Now Available

San Andreas, CA...Following Governor Gavin Newsom’s briefing yesterday, the City of Angels Camp, Calaveras County Economic & Community Development, Public Health, and Calaveras County Chamber of Commerce (Business Leadership Collaborative) staff are working to provide assistance with disseminating the State’s Phase 2 business reopening guidelines. The State’s Business Resilience Roadmap can be found HERE and contains industry specific guidance and checklists for businesses reopening safely.

The Business Leadership Collaborative is continuing its efforts for the Calaveras County “ReThink, ReOpen and ReBound” campaign that includes sharing and showcasing business strategies aimed at successfully re-opening with creative and adaptive mitigation procedures. The State has created a survey to provide businesses with their input on future industry guidance. To fill out the survey visit: California Recovery Roadmap survey.

Additionally, it is important to remember that it’s critical that employees needing to self-isolate because of COVID-19 are encouraged to stay at home, with sick leave policies to support that, to prevent further infection in your workplace. For more information on government programs supporting sick leave and worker’s compensation regarding COVID-19 visit HERE.
