Official George Floyd Memorial Fund Sets Records, Now at $13,682,100!

Minneapolis, MN....The GoFundMe fundraising account for George Floyd's family has set fundraising records! When the offline contributions are combined with the online his family has now raised over $14,000,000. Click on the image below to go to the fundraiser. From the GoFundMe profile..."On May 25, 2020, my life shattered as I learned of the tragic passing of my dear brother, George. My family and I watched in absolute horror as the now infamous and horrifying video began to spread quickly throughout social media. What we saw on that tape left us shell shocked; a white Minneapolis police officer kneeling directly on my brother's neck, obstructing his ability to breathe. As some officers knelt on his neck, other officers participated and watched; no one took any action to save my brother's life.

Those officers would continue to brutalize my brother until he died. This fund is established to cover funeral and burial expenses, mental and grief counseling, lodging and travel for all court proceedings, and to assist our family in the days to come as we continue to seek justice for George. A portion of these funds will also go to the Estate of George Floyd for the benefit and care of his children and their educational fund.

Anyone wishing to send cards, letters of encouragement and/or contributions in the form of a money order or check, may do so by mail at:

The Estate of George Floyd
c/o Ben Crump Law, PLLC
122 S. Calhoun Street
Tallahassee, FL 32301
Attn: Adner Marcelin

All checks must be made out to: The Estate of George Floyd"

My heart goes out for these folks. I'm sorry but I don't have any funds to give now. My heart goes out to you though and this was a very tragic thing that happened. That was great that the local demonstration went well for those two days without incident-even though there were a lot of apprehensive people who conveyed their feelings about the event. I'm sure our Creator was protecting all of us in our small county and small towns along with all the LE personnel. That was also the right move that the Angels City Council took by establishing that temporary curfew law. BTW, I found out that it was lifted for Saturday night. All is well!

No one's loved one can be brought back, ones killed by whites, even by the ones blacks kill. Blacks, thirteen percent of the US population, and they're responsible for 53% of all known murder cases in the United States ( of those solved cases) But whatever, I just hope no black is in charge of the money, and no repukeilans, if either one of those sub- species are, kiss day money good-bye.

Please look a Floyd's rap-Sheet and regroup your thoughts -- Why are we so passionate about a criminal that inflicted harm on others for his personal benefit?

Wake-up America this is not what we are about. . .

I saw a human being be murdered by a police officer. That shouldn't be America.

Your "justifications" are just racist. You should work on that.

It doesn't or shouldn't matter what anyone's past is about. No one should be murdered by law enforcement. If we took a page from your book, why not just empty the jails, take everyone out back and shoot them because there's no hope for someone changing.

While his past does not justify the horrific murder that happened, we do need to separate 2 things. What the cop did was definitely murder and he will be tried for it, However to then hold up Mr Floyd as a national hero is a disgrace as well, shipping his fancy gold casket around and hearing all these family members giving their speeches and over dramatic theatrics in public memorials. you don't think they are all looking to get on the money train that will be coming

Rap sheet or no rap sheet-it wasn't right. I also found out (through RELIABLE RESOURCES) that the officer had a vendetta against Mr. Floyd from a few years back. George Floyd was a bouncer in that same city and he had to remove or 86'd this same cop from a bar since he was belligerent. It seems to me that this cop was holding a grudge against him all this time.

The more I hear of Floyds past, the less sympathy I have for him. No one should ever die the way he did, that was completely WRONG in every way. But, he committed crimes ( and was convicted of) holding a pregnant woman hostage at gun point (the gun was being held to her stomach) while 4 of his friends ransacked her home. I can not imagine how terrified she must have been. I am curious what else he may have done and got away with it. We are only learning of the things he was convicted of.

I wouldn't give you 2 cents for that fuc*ing fund. George Floyd had a rap sheet as long as Florida. He was a druggie, a criminal and no telling how many robberies he committed. Maybe the black people need to change their way of living if they want respect in this world.

On that basis, I think all the white rednecks that have been through the Calaveras County jail should be thrown down on the ground while a cop kneels on their neck until they die all the while the “lowlifes” scream “I can’t breathe”. What’s fair is fair, Cletus.
