Vandalism to Utility Payment Drop Box at City Hall

Angels Camp, CA...Advisory: Vandalism The Utility Payment Drop Box located in the parking lot of City Hall was vandalized sometime between yesterday afternoon, July1, 2020 and this morning, July 2, 2020. It is unknown if any payments were stolen because there were some payments still in the box.

We Would Like To Thank Fox Security For Sponsoring Angels Camp Police Dept Releases

If you dropped a payment in the Utility Payment Drop Box this weekend, please contact City Hall and confirm the receipt of your payment.

Angels Camp City Hall
584 South Main Street

Vandalism

This is actually what you would expect with all the trash moving up here from Stockton and the Valley. It’s too bad that Angels PD spends so much time at their office rather than patrolling the streets. There has also been several mail boxes broken into at the Altaville Post Office. When you see grown men riding kids bikes around town tatted up you know the neighborhood is going downhill.

I think you pretty much nailed it ( I don't know about the PD part, I don't live their) but I'd also have to add that not all those "grown men" tatted up on kids bikes moved here. Sadly some of those fine outstanding, felons and future felons were born here.
