Surveillance Footage Leads to Man’s Arrest for Drug Sales, Theft & Robbery.

Sonora, CA...From the Tuolumne Sheriff's Dept..."Wednesday morning, just before 10 am, Deputy Boujikian was dispatched to the Aladdin Motor Inn for a reported theft. When Deputy Boujikian arrived, she learned a chainsaw was stolen from the bed of a customer’s truck earlier the same morning. A review of the surveillance video determined another customer of the Inn removed the chainsaw from the truck and hid it in some nearby bushes.

Deputy Boujikian responded to the responsible’ s room and contacted 27-year-old Samantha Miccichi of Sonora and 25-year-old Jared Mobley of Columbia. A record check revealed both Samantha and Jared were on searchable probation, and Jared had an active misdemeanor warrant for his arrest.

K9 Thor and his handler, Deputy Skellenger, arrived to assist with the call. K9 Thor conducted a drug sniff of Samantha and Jared’s room. The result of the sniff uncovered over 20 grams of heroin, and other drug sales and drug use related paraphernalia.

The drugs and sales materials were determined to belong to Jared. When Jared’s person was searched incident to arrest, a forged check was located in his pocket. Jared was arrested for charges including possession of narcotics for sale, grand theft, possession of a forged check, and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Samantha was in possession of a small amount of heroin and drug paraphernalia. Samantha was issued a citation and released from the scene.

Jared was also determined to be the suspect wanted in a “smash and grab” style robbery at D&D Antiques in Jamestown on June 19th. The reported value of items stolen during that incident totaled approximately $150.00. Jared was additionally booked for robbery as a result of this case."

So why the glamor shot of the deputy? It's not done for/to male officers. Sexist law enforcement propaganda is what it is.

Really, whining because a female deputy is pictured?
Sorry that a male wasn't pictured, but look on the bright side, you didn't drool all over your undies.

Nothing glam about that picture..maybe even binding of the breasts.
Could be a bullet proof vest? She looks professional. And yes, normally there are pictures of LEO's taken in uniform with their vehicles all the time, to be used for news media releases such as this.
