Three Walk Away from PG&E Contract Helicopter Crash & Fire

San Andreas, CA...On July 20, 2020 at about 10:08AM the Calaveras County Sheriff’s Department received a 911 call reporting a helicopter crash near Hwy 12 and Toll Bridge Rd, San Andreas. The impact caused minor injuries to the three occupants in helicopter and started a vegetation fire. San Andreas Fire, Cal-Fire and Consolidated Fire responded and were able to stop the forward progress of the fire before it spread to a nearby house and barn.

Calaveras Detectives were requested to begin an investigation. They learned the helicopter, a model MD600N PG&E contract helicopter, experienced a loss of power causing it to rapidly loose elevation. Calaveras Investigators will be coordinating their efforts with the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) and National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) to determine the cause of the accident.

Didn't this just happen a few weeks back with a PG&E contract helicopter in the San Andreas?

Unbelievable, three men walked away. Just don’t get any better than that. Bet they think twice before getting into the next one, I sure would!

Sound like the helicopter was subject to a PSPS event.

You better pray Newsom and the state do not take over PG&E or your bills in a few years will double, and then triple. The Socialist running the state can't help but spend more then the over tax us.
We don't have a PG&E bill here, solar. If Newsom gets it, more folks will leave here because they won't be able to use electricity, can't go to work, will only get 50 gals of water, $4 fuel, illegals get free everything, homeless populations skyrocketing along with more and new taxes.

Most state run power is cheap and in some states during covid don't have to pay for power.

Yes for America the Feds have had enough of Portland and letting criminals destroy property

Thank God the Feds finally came said my cousin and his family. These protestors are the new socialist of America. Being from California and vehicles still with Calif plates some neighbors thought they'd like to go 'protest' with them. He said no, he thought they were not just protesting, but breaking the law. Some other neighbors also said no, but being from California and not joining them, he woke up the next morning with the one vehicle outside with a brick through the windshield. He does have security cameras front and back that came with the house but sadly it might not of been a good system, so he's now upgrading (under the radar)
This is the liberal/Socialist Party that well have under Pelosi, Schiff and their puppet Biden if they win.

Regarding PG&E. Is it an option to bring in another utility? One that operates in a neighboring county? One who’s rates are less expensive and still great service.
