MOC Fire Incident Entering Final Stages of Containment

Groveland, CA...All Mandatory Evacuation Orders & Fire Advisements for the communities impacted by the MOC Fire have been lifted. The agencies involved in helping to mitigate this fire have effectively entered the final stages of containment and mop up. The personnel and cooperating agencies assisting the CAL FIRE Tuolumne-Calaveras Unit have begun transitioning out. CAL FIRE will remain on scene and committed to the MOC Fire until completion of the incident.




Safety Message- The public is reminded to stay informed on current fire conditions. The MOC Fire is still an active incident. Please drive slowly and yield to all emergency and safety personnel who will continue working in the area for the duration of the incident.

For additional information on the MOC Fire residents should contact the CAL FIRE Tuolumne-Calaveras Unit at 209-754-3831.
