"The next 6 to 12 weeks are going to be the darkest of the entire pandemic. Vaccines will not become available in any meaningful way until early to third quarter of next year." -- Michael Osterholm, director of the Center for Infectious Disease Research

Man, that's a fact. The lamest cartoons I have ever seen. And i'm a big comic page fan. These are absolutely bottom of the barrel bad. Get a life Darby.

Trump voters are unable to explain why they like Trump (without saying untrue things) because it’s a cult. They like him personally. They like how he makes people outside the cult mad. These are not governing principles.

Good point. It certainly isn’t about making good decisions for the good of the whole. It’s about the deep underlying hatred and prejudice they feel toward the diverse citizenship (which IS the original concept of AMERICA) which they cannot speak openly about. So they love Trump thumping his chest and dividing us up and thriving on the anger.
It’s just that I know we as a people are better than that. And the HUGE majority will show them on Nov 3. And those who stand up against Trump will be on the right side of history. And someday your grandkids will ask you who you voted for.

If we have to keep asking the meaning of the cartoon then there’s a problem. We shouldn’t have to try this hard. Does the “Idaho” on the doors stand for a hint? And shouldn’t there be an apostrophe on “one’s”? (one is)

good observation anonymous!...I noticed that typo just after it was too late to change... Maybe I should show you the finished cartoon before I send it to Press so you can scrutinize it...Thanks for 'Being On The Team'! I was always better at art than grammar... Mike

As for Idaho I know for a fact that everything is just about "open" in Idaho in reference to Covid 19. I know because I was just there for a few days. High schools in the Boise/Nampa/Caldwell areas (the main urban areas) were all having Friday night football games WITH spectators. I saw this on the late night news-final the scores of the games and all! Apparently the folks up there are doing something right. BTW, the good folks in Boise chased out all those Antifa fools and probably have a strong mayor who won't put up with that crap! So tell me something I don't know!

The only thing I "get" is that there's an apostrophe missing in "ones."
