Simi Valley Man Loses Life in Rail Road Flat Road Collision
West Point, CA...A 67 year old Simi Valley man was driving his Ford pickup southbound on Railroad Flat Rd. at an unknown rate of speed when he allowed it to drift off the west side of the roadway and up an embankment. His F250 overturned down the embankment and landing directly on its roof in the southbound traffic lane. He was trapped in his vehicle until he was removed by fire department personnel. Unfortunately, he sustained fatal injuries as a result of this collision. He was wearing a seatbelt at the time of the collision.

It is still under investigation whether drugs or alcohol played a part in this collision.
His identity will be released after next of kin is notified.
