Eagle Meadow Road Paving Scheduled
Sonora, CA....The Forest Service today announced that a portion of Eagle Meadow Road (5N01) is scheduled to be paved, with preparation work beginning Monday, June 23, and paving to commence on Wednesday, June 25, 2008. While preparation work prior to paving is underway, traffic may encounter temporary delays.....

During the paving portion of the project, set for Wednesday, June 25 through Thursday, June 26, the road will be temporarily closed to through traffic at Barn Meadow between the hours 7:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. to provide for public safety. Emergency traffic needs will be accommodated at all times during the entire period of the project.
The paving work will improve a 3,800 foot section of the road, running from Barn Meadow to Niagara Rim Trail. The road will reopen following completion of the paving work.
