Work Year/Hours: Full Year is 180 school days; 5 days per week, 4-hours per day.
Start Date: 2021-22 School Year
Salary: $19.31 - $21.24 Depending on Experience
Description: Under supervision of the Director of Transportation, the Bus Driver will operate a school bus over designated rural, mountainous routes while transporting students safely and efficiently to the school sites or to co-curricular or extra-curricular activities.
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
Education: High school diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Experience:
• Possess a valid California Vehicle Operator’s License that authorizes operating a school bus, desirable.
• Possess CPR and First Aid Certificates.
• Requires vision (which may be corrected) to read small print.
CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT
• Maintain insurability by the District liability insurance carrier.
• Subject to emergency call back and random drug and alcohol testing
