I think we need to keep the power from new melones here and create our own micro-grid. I hear they are cool now

IF PG&E WOULD STOP GIVING ALL THEIR MONEY TO THEIR EXECUTIVES THROUGH UNNEEDED BONUSES & ALL THE SHAREHOLDERS AND ACTUALLY FIX THEIR DANGEROUSLY OUTDATED EQUIPMENT THEN BS LIKE THIS WOULD NOT HAPPEN! WE ALL KNOW THAT WILL NOT HAPPEN BECAUSE THEY WOULD ACTUALLY CARE ABOUT THEIR CUSTOMERS!! PG&E COULD CARE LESS ABOUT THEIR CUSTOMERS! ALL THEY CARE ABOUT IS THE ALMIGHTY DOLLAR!! FUC* YOU PG&E!!

Yea, those mud holes have many purposes, you obviously no only of one. When I was t’en my uncle and I flew from Turlock to Chico. That was 1957, before the Orville Dam, and New Melones. The entire valley north of Sacramento was a lake, from the coastal range to the foothills of the Sierra. Flood control is paramount for 1. This Democrat run state has allowed development all over the best farmland in the world. I don’t agree with paving this farmland, but $ talks and we have all seen what has happened between here and the Altamont. Secondly, if you are like me you like to eat, dairies, and other farm related crops need water, without water storage this wouldn’t be possible. California is a complex state, we have beautiful natural landscape, we have a huge population relying on electricity, we need water to support domestic, and farm use, how you make all of this work together is a nightmare. Time to go fishing!

I don’t work for PGE but want to support them. I have lived in Calaveras County since 1978, Arnold to Murphys. I have watched PGE restore power, especially in Arnold, after some epic snow storms as quickly as they can, if you really pay attention to what they are in charge of you would be more satisfied.
