Human Remains Recovered Consistent with Gabrielle "Gabby" Petito

Jackson Hole, WY..."The FBI Denver Field Office and its Wyoming Resident Agencies, in coordination with the National Park Service, U.S. Forest Service, Teton County Sheriff's Office, and Jackson Police Department have been conducting investigative activity in the vicinity of Spread Creek Dispersed Camping Area in the Bridger-Teton National Forest. Today, the search revealed human remains consistent with the description of Gabrielle “Gabby” Petito. Full forensic identification has not been completed and we do not yet know the cause of death. We appreciate your patience as we work through this process.

The FBI and our partners extend our heartfelt condolences to Gabby’s family and loved ones. This is an incredibly difficult time for them, and our thoughts are with them as they mourn the loss of their daughter.
The vicinity around the Spread Creek Dispersed Camping Area remains closed to the public until further notice. This is an active and ongoing investigation, so we ask the public to maintain distance from any law enforcement personnel, equipment, vehicles, and their related activity for the safety of the public in these remote areas, to respect the privacy of Gabby’s family, and to protect the integrity of our work.

FBI Denver extends our gratitude to our partners at the National Park Service, U.S. Forest Service, Teton County Sheriff's Office, Teton County Search and Rescue, and Jackson Police Department for their collaboration and diligence in this investigation. We also thank the community of Jackson and the surrounding areas for your hospitality and accommodation.

We appreciate the public’s support and the valuable tips that have been submitted. We continue to seek information from anyone who utilized the Spread Creek Dispersed Camping Area between the dates of August 27-30, 2021 and who may have had contact with Gabby or her boyfriend, or who may have seen their vehicle. Tips may be submitted to tips.fbi.gov, 1-800-CALL-FBI, or 303-629-7171. Photos and videos may be uploaded
to fbi.gov/petito.

We will share any additional updates or requests for assistance from the public as appropriate. We appreciate your cooperation and respect for Gabby's family and loved ones."

If the boyfriend did this he can save everyone's time and grief in the everglades. Just make it two recoveries.

This is a story of another unwed couple , girl, thinking life is touring the country with a guy that has a hard penis, and she makes a fool of herself, first, by giving herself to a man that could care less about her, and ends up dead. The van belonged to her, they lived with his parents, a real tip-off to the quality of this bastard! Did he have a job, most people don’t tour the country until they are retired, instead, someone was foolish enough to pay for this adventure, and she ended up dead, and this deadbeat whole drove her van all the way from Wyoming to Florida, then clammed-up when the authorities wanted to question him. I’m sick of « a person of interest », this dick was her killer all along! This world is crazy! Parents, raise your daughters with morality, so leeches like this boy don’t get a chance to do this to your daughters as well!

To the unwed couple commenter, you are completely disgusting. The fact that others choose not to live by your moral code in no way gives cause to, or justifies their murder. Eat a bag of dicks you holier than thou slimeball.

For your information, this is a comment page, you don’t have to accept or like my comment, just as I don’t have to live by your comment or accept it! To tell me or someone else to STFU shows your character, or lack of! You don’t care for my opinion or suggestion, who cares!

I generally agree with you, but your victim blaming statement was grossly offensive, even by Pinetree standards.
You thoroughly earned the STFU that writer gave you, and a whole lot more.
