Jackson Rancheria Band of Miwuk Indians Supports Holiday Toy Drive with $20,000 Donation

Jackson, CA...The Jackson Rancheria Band of Miwuk Indians is proud to support this year’s Matt Scott Racing/Amador County Sheriff’s Department Holiday Toy Drive with a $20,000 donation to help families in need in Amador County. “On behalf of the Jackson Rancheria Band of Miwuk Indians, it is an honor to have the ability to support this year’s Holiday Toy Drive,” said Crystal Jack, CEO of Jackson Rancheria. “The Tribe is committed to coming together to support the community and we are hopeful that this contribution will make the holiday season brighter for families in need. Please consider supporting this year’s toy drive if you are able to.”

The Holiday Toy Drive will take place on Saturday, December 4 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. in front of Foothill Appliance in the Amador Shopping Plaza. COVID-19 precautions will be in place. Simply drive up with a new, unwrapped toy and Santa’s helpers will collect your donation.

“We are so thankful for this generous donation and look forward to making this a memorable holiday for the children of our community. If you are able to, please join us,” said Mike Scott, Matt Scott Racing Holiday Toy Drive Coordinator.

If you would like to make a monetary donation to support the purchasing of toys for this year’s distribution, checks can be made payable to the Amador County Community Foundation and dropped off to Kevin Barnett at The Mountain Merchant.

For more information about the Holiday Toy Drive, please contact Kevin Barnett at (209) 223-3333.

The Jackson Rancheria Band of Miwuk Indians own and operate Jackson Rancheria Casino Resort, which includes the Casino, Hotel, RV Park, General Store & Gas Station. Jackson Rancheria is one of the largest employers in Amador County. The Tribe is committed to supporting charitable programs, protecting the environment, and contributing to the county. The Jackson Rancheria Band of Miwuk Indians was first recognized by the Federal Government in 1898.
