Let’s start out with outlawing gas generators, snow plows that run on gas or diesel, chainsaws that clear trees from roads that are gas powered, then we will move on to making pot legal to smoke in all our Calaveras Co. schools as long as you wear a mask between hits, then we will get into CRT, and how we can best get the children to hate each other, by then it will be noon, and we can go out to lunch!

Better yet, outlaw all personal passenger vehicles of any type. The government buys everyone an ebike for their personal needs and provides free public transportation for the disabled. Climate crisis solved, and everyone lives five years longer because of increased aerobic health. Are those problems we'd like to have? Probably not, because we're dumb asses.

You can sacrifice a bit or change your ways and save the planet for your great grandchildren or we just give up now. As you may have noticed, we're pretty much at the start of the quintessential disaster movie formula where folks don't believe the scientists and it all goes downhill from there.

"You can sacrifice a bit..........." How is not having a fuel engine going to fix the earth being thrown off it's axis by an earthquake thus reversing weather on the planet? Would not the great population increase and massive building in certain areas of the planet be of the greatest concern? Dams and their great weight built where none existed before should be of great concern also?

Why is it the solutions provided by leaders are not addressing these concerns? Why are Dams and crowd building presented as a solution by leaders?

"The law would also require gas-powered home generators to be emissions-free by 2028..."

Emissions free doesn't mean 'banned'. You're an idiot. Please read the laws before commenting on them. Especially ones that are all about you being selfish at the expense of everyone else.

Why so late on declaring a state of emergency? All other counties experiencing snowmageddon filed days ago via emergency meetings.

Hey, it's only been nine days, and these five are important, busy, people. 20,000 people without power or heat is NOT that big of a deal. Just ask them.

Yeah right according to you, you living in a place that has historically life threatening weather, and often experience this kind of snow fall is an emergency?

You want to blame someone for you not researching a place to live where you can take care of yourself safely, having the knowledge and tools to do so?

You should start with who you bought your home from, the realtor and the supervisor you elected! All of them should have disclosed and continue to disclose, that people over 50 or disabled should not be living in the high country. The very least your supervisor and county officials should be telling you before storms is to have:

    A wood stove.
    Firewood.
    Dutch Oven
At least 2 weeks of canned and dry food.
    A large snow shovel.

I’ve got a better idea, no one lives above 500 ft. In California, everyone move back to Manteca or The Gay Bay, then there will be no need for gas powered anything! Then we can save the planet, enjoy out of control gun violence, the farmer’s don’t need tractors or other gas powered equipment, you Libtards. live in a panacea!

Or that Highway 4 held the U.S. record for deepest snowfall, until just recently. It is still the deepest historic snowfall in CA. though.
