One out of every 500 people in Calaveras County has now died of Covid.

Then that would be a .002 % death rate. Not too bad

      I believe you mean a 0.2% death rate. As in: 0.2%×500= 100%

0.2% sounds like a small number if you're alive to hear it. If you're one of the dead, you obviously don't hear it.

Think of a gun cylinder chambered for 500 cartridges. Load the empty chamber with only one round, leaving 499 empty. Spin the cylinder, put the barrel to your head, and pull the trigger.

      Sound reasonable to you?

^ I agree with your assessment of that person. However, we are dealing with people who are quite familiar with dying with kidney failure, with COPD, with snakebite, with venereal disease.

What we have here is failure to communicate.
A dotard has a tough time with reason.
Once they take a stand, it's tough to convince them they may be wrong.
Their argument. I refuse to be a guinea pig.
Valid excuse until you see the facts of those that die from/with covid.
A dotard will only take responsibility when they wind up in the hospital. Their natural immune system is what kept them alive this long.
My actions mean I'm alive because I didn't vaccinate.
Doesn't make sense to me, but then again, I didn't vote for Trump either.
