Koda is Your Calaveras Pet of the Week!!

San Andreas, CA…New for 2022! It’s Koda (AO53652)! Look at that face! Our shelter gets a lot of wonderful dogs and finds them loving homes. We hope Koda will find one for the new year, with you!

Koda is a dog who takes a bit of time to bond with his person, but will surely reward you as a loyal companion. He knows “sit" and takes treats with a soft mouth. He walks nicely on leash and likes to explore, but is also very attentive and checks in frequently with his handler. Right now he prefers people to dogs, yet has been good with those he has met. Koda would like a person who will give him all the time and attention he deserves. We believe he is housebroken since he keeps his kennel clean. If your family has a dog, a meet and greet is required. Meet and greets are a great way to get to know your prospective new pet, as well as visiting the shelter and seeing the dedication of staff and volunteers to our County’s animals. Koda would love nothing more than to go home with you now. Come meet him!

Please use Koda’s intake number (AO53652) when making inquiries.

All dogs available for adoption at the Calaveras Animal Shelter are up-to-date on their routine vaccinations and will
be microchipped. All unaltered dogs AND cats must be neutered before they can go home with you.

Animal Services now has a Fee Flexibility Program!

When the dog or cat population at the shelter is at 80% or above capacity, the total adoption fee will be 50%
off––reduced to $40 for dogs and $30 for cats. The adoption fee for cats who arrive at the shelter already altered will
be $10. With the 55-5-5 Program, any time an adopter is 55 or older and adopts any pet over 5 years old, the
adoption fee is $5.
For more information about Koda, please email Animal Services: Kathy Bandy at Kbandy@co.calaveras.ca.us

or call Animal Services in San Andreas directly at (209) 754-6509
