It’s Monday after the fair Thunder Thighs McLardAss John where is the story covering all the crime, litter, drugs, and drama from the fair? Multiple wrecks, one fatality, yet to be announced how many vehicle break-ins and drug deals. Every year you all ignore it and act like none of it happened. Why is that? Too ashamed to admit the fair board with their endless lies and greed? Or is it you all don’t people to see the truth of how the flatlanders and their dirty money are more like locusts then human beings?? Run the story and let people see for themselves blubber butt!!

While I disagree with your statement, I do agree that what makes Calaveras a desirable place to live is because of tourists and the money they spend.
Yes, some tourists ring disgusting habits. Littering. Excessive alcohol consumption. Crowding favorite recreational and entertainment spots.
Locals are guilty of some of these same bad habits.
If you can't find a place to enjoy on your days off, that's your fault. Those of us that have lived here a long time know which spots to avoid on certain days of the week. Just be happy that you really only have to plan your relaxation days between Frog Jump through Labor Day.
Not that big of a deal.
The jobs that local businesses provide to local residents more than make up for minor inconvenience.
      Get over it.
It's not just the tourists that cause problems. Many locals are rude and slobs too.

You lie too. None of the Cheap China crap and bad restaurants are worth the destruction of our homes.

You are one of the selfish transplants here trying to carelessly destroy our quality of life. That is a proven lie you continue to spout. Shame on your greed. You could easily take yourself and your low quality China made junk back to the cities to sell.

You must not follow the Sheriff logs to see the many local criminals that show up there.
The fact that there's more break ins, traffic accidents, litter, and lack of civility is due more to certain locals, rather than out of county visitors.

The comment above ⬆️ this one is full of 💩!! Everyone knows the flatlanders with their crime, litter, drugs, and drama ruin everything for everyone else!

It’s beyond me why people believe the lie that we need the flatlanders dirty money to survive. It’s complete BS! We gotten by without them in the past and we can do it again!

You lie too. Much of what actually happens is never posted. A closer look at the problems, has proven that many of the drugged/mentally ill, criminals and felons have followed the transplant relatives (parents) checkbook here. You are a complete azz to call them locals.

They move here, have been here a very short time and you call then a local. WRONG! Anyone here under the time of 50 years is not a local. You call someone who came here and gives their address as here yesterday a local....NO!!

But what you're not acknowledging is that we have plenty of born and raised criminals here. The hwy4 corridor has plenty of 20, 30, and 40 year old scumbags that were raised by some decent, and not so decent parents.
        Same as anywhere else.
        Fact?

None of us would have money without the tourist? Sorry buddy, maybe you wouldn't have any, but my work has nothing to do with the tourist industry.
Give it a break with the tourist putting food on everyone's plate. Not putting you down, but what big city did you come from? Obviously you're not a local.

      Been here 45 years.
It's what you contribute to your community that matters.
      Coaching.
      Volunteering.
      Cleaning up.
      Helping out.
      Donating money and time.
      Not putting others down.
Doesn't matter if I've been here one week. One decade. One lifetime.

          And that's the problem.
You criticize the guy that helps our community.
Then you got the dumbchits that constantly talk about their anatomy. Other people's anatomy. And not many have a problem with it, let alone stop it.
