Tuolumne County Fire Department Expands Emergency Response Services in South County

Groveland, CA...Tuolumne County Fire Department (TCFD) has expanded year-round emergency response services along the Highway 120/ Groveland corridor with the addition of a career staffed fire engine. Engine 631 is in-service and co-located with the Groveland Community Services District (GCSD) fire department at Station 78 at 18930 Highway 120.

Over the last 10 years, Southern Tuolumne County has had an increase in emergency responses of 39 percent, and simultaneously, responses have increased in complexity and outpaced our resources. Large development projects and increased visitors to the area have contributed to the need for a higher level of service now and for future planning. The addition of the fire engine starting August 1, 2022 will include six professional firefighters.
Funding to TCFD for the addition was made possible by the American Rescue Plan Act funds approved by Tuolumne County Board of Supervisors in the amount of $1 million for FY 2022/23 to cover the cost of the increased staffing and to purchase firefighter personal protective equipment.

Tuolumne County Fire Department Engine 631 facts and features:
• 2010 Type-1 apparatus built by Hi-Tech in Oakdale, CA
• 450 horsepower, current milage is approximately 170,187
• 1500 Gallons per minute pumping capacity
• Seats 4 fire personnel
• Formally used by TCFD as Engine 761 and Engine 511

Did Kamala Harris call them about her lower then even Joe Biden's Record Lowest Numbers in Modern History? Now that's an Emergency!!! Kamala's numbers are even lower then when she was under Willie Browns desk giving him a Blow Job.

HEADLINE NEWS ALERT FROM FOX NEWS

'The United States conducted a "successful" counterterrorism operation against a "significant" Al Qaeda leader Ayman Al Zawahiri in Afghanistan over the weekend, a senior administration official told Fox News."

On a good note, so far Biden didn't say this was a "RIGHTEOUS KILL" like he did when he ordered the strike and ended up killing 10 afghan citizens 8 of them little kids.
That's probably why it took this long to announce this drone strike. I just wonder how many lib/ Dems will mourn this death like when Trump took out a general who killed Hundreds and Hundreds of US military Personnel?
Will you cowards who would flee our country if INVADED be OKAY? Did you start a GoFundMe page for this terrorist like you did when Trump killed
Gen. Qassem Soleimani and you cowardly traitors wanted our Flag flown at half mast?

So, the above comments are ridiculous and have nothing to do with the stated topic, really get a life! Back to the topic, sorry this just doesn’t make sense to me. The funding is only good for a period of time, not permanent? Isn’t county fire Calfire? Is the other fire dept Calfire? Why two engines in the same location? Shouldn’t they be in different locations in order to provide better coverage? The numbers seem out of whack. A million dollars for six firefighters, salaries, benefits, and overall operational costs? Just doesn’t seem to add up. Are the firefighters new hires? Just kinda of confusing from someone admitting that I am not in the know, just questions.
