Nurse Practitioner Stephanie Peffer Joins The Family Medical Center in Arnold
Arnold, CA....Stephanie Peffer, Family Nurse Practitioner, has joined the Family Medical Center in Arnold to help health care services grow with one of Calaveras County’s most active communities. Most recently Ms. Peffer was with the Family Medical Center in Copperopolis. She has 17 years of experience in Critical Care Nursing at Mark Twain St. Joseph’s Hospital, Sonora Regional Medical Center, Doctor’s Medical Center in Modesto, and....
Valley Care Medical Center in Pleasanton. Ms. Peffer also practiced with Dr. Mike Kifune and Dr. Sandra Shetzline in Arnold as a Nurse Practitioner for three years. “It’s nice to be back in the Arnold area with some very familiar faces” said Ms. Peffer. “I look forward to making a positive difference in the health care of our Arnold residents”.
“Stephanie strengthens our Family Medical Centers and thus provides a major medical benefit to our community”, said Mark Twain St. Joseph’s Hospital President Feliciano Jiron. “We are very proud to be able to position her back in our Arnold community.”

Mark Twain St. Joseph’s Hospital is a not-for-profit, 48-bed general acute care hospital serving all of Calaveras County. Established in 1951 as Mark Twain District Hospital and centrally located in San Andreas, the hospital is partnered with Catholic Healthcare West to further strengthen this rural hospital to meet future community needs. The hospital is supported by 45 active physicians practicing in 24 specialties.
