San Andreas, CA...We had the pleasure to spend a few minutes discussing the latest news from Mark Twain St. Joseph's Hospital with Facilities & Development V.P. Larry Cornish. Each Quarter we try and spend a few minutes bringing you up to date on the Staffing, Development, Future Plans, Upcoming Events and more that will be happening at MTSJ. This quarter there have been some physician requirement wins and some providers have moved to new facilities. Sports programs of the local schools. Mr. Cornish also talks about the new Family Medical Center that will be coming to the Copperopolis Town Square. Also discussed were some of the free community health screenings, family practice and pediatric practice news.
MTSJ also believes strongly in investing in the workforce of the county. As one of the largest employers in Calaveras County they are constantly looking at ways to encourage students our area to look at and be aware of the career opportunities here for them locally.
Larry also talked about the role MTSJ is playing in economic development locally. Hospital President Feliciano Jiron is also the President of the Calaveras County Business Council.
