Angels Camp, CA....The Angels Camp Business Association presents the 2nd annual “A Taste of Calaveras” on Sunday, October 12, 2008, from 1pm~5pm. Tickets On Sale Now! A Taste of Calaveras serves up an exciting celebration of wine, food art and culture of Calaveras County! The Angels Camp Business Association invites you to join in our Second Annual ”A Taste of Calaveras”. The event is a food and wine experience, featuring vintages from Calaveras ....

wineries and gourmet foods from Calaveras restaurateurs. Calaveras artists will also be attending with a special art show along with a premium silent auction featuring Calaveras Experiences and Calaveras products.
A Taste of Calaveras promises to be an afternoon filled with great wine, food and entertainment. The event is scheduled for Sunday, October 12, 1:00 – 5:00 at the Dove Hill Ranch in Angels Camp.
New this year, is our “Fancy Hat” contest. We encourage everyone to don their chapeau for this fun contest. Prizes will include a beautiful hat created by Carol Flemming and dinner at one Carol's restaurants.
“A Taste of Calaveras” is intended to showcase only Calaveras products. During the day, there will be local entertainers and artists.
A $40 per person in advance and $50 per person at gate. Entry ticket allows you to receive a commemorative wine glass and food tray. Enjoy a fantastic afternoon browsing and freely tasting from our Calaveras Wineries and gourmet foods from Calaveras restaurateurs.
A portion of the proceeds will benefit the Bret Harte Angels Sports Complex.
