Truck Transporting Heavy Equipment Cause of Fire at Camp Nine in Vallecito

Vallecito, CA....CAL Fire states a truck transporting heavy equipment was the cause of a three small fires at Camp Nine in Vallecito on Tuesday. Damages accrued were 2 1/2 acres of vegetation. 1 1/2 acres of vegetation and a small spot fire all in heavy brush. Steep terrain made access and suppression efforts difficult. Winds and low humidity also hindered control efforts. An engine from Murphys will be on scene Wednesday morning. Total dollar damage reported at $800. CAL Fire report enclosed....

THREE FIRES CAUSED BY TRUCK TRANSPORTING HEAVY EQUIPMENT. THE SIZE OF THE FIRES WERE 2 ½ ACRES, 1 ½ ACRE AND A SMALL SPOT ALL IN HEAVY BRUSH.
