Stabbing in Jackson Late this Afternoon
Jackson, CA...On Friday March 10, 2023, at approximately 5:00 pm, The Jackson Police Department was dispatched to 810 Court Street for a physical fight in progress resulting in a possible stabbing victim. Upon arrival, officers located a 33-year-old male victim with an apparent stab wound to his left side. Emergency medical services were requested and the victim was transported to a Sacramento area trauma hospital.
Witnesses at the scene advised the victim and the male suspect engaged in a verbal argument near the driver's side of a black colored sedan when the victim took a couple of steps backward yelling "what the F---k, what the F---k." The suspect then entered into the front passenger side of the black vehicle and fled the scene followed by a white colored SUV driven by a female. The male driver of the black vehicle was identified and contacted a few minutes later.
The driver told officers that he was unaware of the stabbing until the suspect told him a few minutes after leaving the scene. The driver told officers he pulled over near Walmart and had the suspect exit his vehicle. The driver identified the suspect as 43-year-old Justin Arthur White of Clear Lake. White's current whereabouts are currently unknown at this time.
The victim's injuries were not life threatening and he is expected to make a full recovery. This is an active investigation and anyone with any information related to this incident is encouraged to call the Jackson Police Department at (209) 223 -1771.
