How is this any surprise? You open up a really small town to tons of drinkers, and this is what you get! Wake up, Murphys! Illegal parking is just part of the attitude these tourists bring with them! Trash on private properties on their way out of town, litter in hotel parking lots.. Same issues every year, but making the almighty dollar is their only concern! Murphys used to be a nice town, before this Irish Day and the Grape Stomp debacles. There is a good reason many locals skip these events,! Even weekends have now become a bar crawl! Sickening to see, and forget safety! What a shame!

The California Hiway Patrol-is a joke, like CDF, I sat and watched totally enebriated people get into cars, and drive a way from this event, just look the other way, what the hell is wrong with you people? 80% of the autos parked with one or two tires over the fog line, I saw no one writing tickets,last summer, up at Lake Alpine, I got a ticket by the HP for having one tire touching the fog line! I would suggest you so called officers start doing your job, or we will do it for you, you park on or over the fog line, a rock goes through your windshield, I for one am sick of the lawlessness that you ignore, and by the way, blacked out windows are illegal, do something about it, those autos are dangerous, and besides it’s illegal, you hear, illegal! Get your fat asses out of those patrol car’s and do something besides meet at Starbucks!

ACPD/CHP/Sheriff’s Department all turn a blind eye to the flatlanders antics every weekend because of the dirty money they bring up here. If you haven’t realized all three of them won’t do jack squat unless it gets their names in the paper/local websites. So it should not be a surprise when they ignore the flatlanders drunk driving.

The Sky Cam did a very good job of why Murphy's is a mess. Why drive for hours to walk down a street and drink. To think that you are getting away from the city is not correct your fellow city friends just follow you to the same place. A very good place to meet Fat Ugly city people
