I’m so thankful that God, my Creator allowed me to be born in a country that is blessed beyond anything I could personally come up with! Every Thanksgiving I reflect back on previous Thanksgivings like most of us do, and pick a country outside of theUnited States, and know, without a doubt America is the Best, and how fortunate I am to be an American! Spending nearly a year in combat in VN has given me a life long respect for what I came home too, not the protesters, not those that complain about everything, but those that embrace FREEDOM, unless you have lost that you will never know the cost of it! The freedom to get up early and participate in a Turkey Trot, to be in bed after 76 yrs. of hard, physical labor, whatever it might be!
Remember all of those in this war in the Middle East, either side, and pray that the hatred becomes friendliness, hatred rots the container it is held in, believe me, I was consumed with it, at one time in my life!

Rep. Dean Phillips, D-Minn., said that voters have no faith in Vice President Kamala Harris if she were to succeed President Biden, in remarks that infuriated some of her passionate supporters.
Phillips, a millionaire businessman and House Democrat serving in his third term, announced his long-shot primary challenge against President Biden last month. He has sought to walk the line of not being too harsh on Biden and Harris while making the case that the Democratic primary voters want another choice for the 2024 ticket.
"I hear from others who know her a lot better than I do that many think she’s not well positioned," Phillips said of Harris, in an interview with The Atlantic. "She is not well-prepared, doesn’t have the right disposition and the right competencies to execute that office." Phillips also said that "Harris’ approval numbers are even worse than Biden’s."

What a great read I found.
As emphasized by then-President Ronald Reagan in his March 23, 1983 address to the nation on defense and national security, the "most basic duty [of] any president is the duty to protect and strengthen the peace."
Fast forward to the present, President Joe Biden and the radical Democrats have failed our nation and our allies in that most fundamental duty.
They have led us a on a regressive path to national weakness through the:
Complete failure to secure our southern border;
Stifling America’s energy production and subverting our global energy dominance;
Failing to invest in our national defense;
The tragic, humiliating debacle of the U.S. withdrawal from Afghanistan that resulted in 13 service members losing their lives and arming the Taliban with billions of dollars of American military gear and weapons; and
Foolhardy attempts at appeasing Iran that ultimately precipitated the brutal Hamas attack against our ally Israel and the deaths of at least 29 Americans just one week ago.
Biden has emboldened our enemies and compromised our national security.
Reagan’s answer in 1983 for the current crisis: "peace through our strength."
This was his fundamental foreign policy strategy to ensure peace with freedom as he raised our nation from the abyss of the Carter presidency in the 1970’s to winning the Cold War in the 1990s, bringing down the Berlin Wall, and dismantling the Soviet Union.
Our economic and military strength is the key to deterring bad actors from attacking the United States, our allies, and our vital interests. "[W]eakness only invites aggression" from our enemies warned Reagan.
Biden Degrading Our Defense Capability
Militarily, as China invests heavily in its military and terrorist threats expand across the globe, Biden has failed year after year to invest in defense leading to a decline in military power that threatens our national security:
The Air Force is now the smallest, oldest, and least ready it has ever been in its 75-year history;
The Navy fleet is steadily shrinking as Biden’s Secretary of the Navy says climate change is the top priority; and
The Army and Marine Corps have been contracting year over year.
This deterioration of our military capability signals weakness to our enemies around the world.
Biden’s Appeasement Strategy with Iran Leads to Brutal Hamas Terrorist Attack
Iran’s determined objectives are to destroy Israel, dominate the Mideast and become a nuclear power. Indeed, in the wake of the Hamas invasion of Israel, Iran’s supreme leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, proclaimed, "God willing, the cancer [Israel] will be eradicated at the hands of the Palestine people . . . "
To that end, Iran has trained, armed, and funded terrorist groups like Hamas.
There is no rational negotiation possible with Iran and its terrorist partners like Hamas.
They do not operate from the same value system. Iran and Hamas will never accept any peace that includes the existence of Israel.
Biden and his advisors should have known better than attempt to negotiate with Iran.
Instead, for three years the Biden administration has senselessly sought to appease Iran in an effort to negotiate an Obama-era nuclear deal that itself fails to truly protect America and the world against Iran becoming a nuclear power.
Upon his election, Biden ended the Trump Administration’s maximum pressure strategy against Iran, including relaxing the enforcement of sanctions on Iranian oil sales.
This allowed Iran to increase its oil exports substantially, mostly to China, and the influx of $30-40 billion in oil revenue, which enabled Iran to fund and arm Hamas.
Additional funding for Iran came from Biden unfreezing $6 billion of Iranian assets in exchange for the release of five Americans about a month ago.
Iran conned Biden. Playing along with Biden’s desperate ambition for a nuclear deal so that Biden would ease sanctions, Iran reaped tens of billions of dollars all the while staying focused on its true mission to export terrorism and destroy Israel.
The Way Forward
Like Reagan, after four years of decline under Carter, Republicans must lead the way to restore America. This will require as a start:
Rebuilding our military power;
Securing our southern border; and
Unleashing America’s energy production to restore our energy dominance and, not only replenishing our strategic petroleum reserve, but significantly increasing that reserve.
And regarding Iran, the world’s most active state sponsor and exporter of terrorism, there can be no peace in the Mideast unless the U.S. contains Iran. Biden must at a minimum immediately:
Refreeze Iran’s $6 billion of assets; and
Shut down Iran’s chief source of revenue by reinstituting and aggressively enforcing strict sanctions against Iran’s oil exports.
Biden’s legacy is one of national weakness that has emboldened our enemies here and aborad. It's now time for Americans to unite to restore a strong America.
Our future, freedom, and national security depend on it.

On Monday, MSNBC host Rachel Maddow went on a tirade against former President Donald Trump's son-in-law, Jared Kushner, after discovering that the President of Mexico had honored him with an award for his services to mankind during his time in the Trump White House.
Kushner received the Mexican Order of the Aztec Eagle, which is the highest honor awarded to non-citizens by the Mexican government. Former Mexico President Enrique Pena Nieto granted Kushner the award in 2018 for his pivotal role in negotiating the U.S.-Mexico-Canada Agreement, or USMCA, which Trump considers one of his greatest achievements as president.
Despite the award being given to Kushner nearly five years ago, Maddow dedicated a large portion of her anti-Trump segment to rip into the former Trump aide. The segment focused on a "right-wing shift" at the Hispanic television network Univision as Hispanic voters are moving away from the Democrat party, according to polls. Maddow tried to come to terms with why that could be.
"So this is a very unique award. It's called the Mexican Order of the Aztec Eagle. It's the highest honor the Mexican government can give to any non-Mexican citizen. They give it -- they award it for services to Mexico, or to mankind. Since its creation in 1933, recipients of the Order of the Aztec Eagle have included Queen Elizabeth II, Nelson Mandela, Walt Disney, Bill and Melinda Gates, Gabriel Garcia Marquez, to name a few. In 2018, added to that illustrious list was, Jared. Yes, that Jared. Jared Kushner, son-in-law of then President Donald Trump," Maddow told viewers.
"Mexico's president, presenting Jared here with the Order of the Aztec Eagle," she added, sharing a picture of Kushner receiving the award. "Again, the highest honor the Mexican government can bestow upon any foreigner."
"Why did Jared get that?" Maddow asked.
The MSNBC host went on to list possible reasons behind Kushner receiving the award, attempting to chalk it up to a friendly relationship with Hispanic television networks Televisa and Univision. But not once did Maddow mention Kushner's achievement in negotiating the North American Free Trade Agreement, now called the U.S.-Mexico-Canada Agreement, which was why he was awarded the highest honor.
In 2018, according to AP, the Foreign Relations Department said in a statement that Kushner earned the award "for his significant contributions in achieving the renegotiation of the new (trade) agreement between Mexico, the United States and Canada."
The department said that Kushner "played a fundamental role during the whole process, displaying decisive support for the trade talks ... thus achieving satisfactory results."

Egging on the Capitol Rioters to climb scaffolds, enter the Capitol...and cut out all videos of the officers...they just probably forgot that part, like Biden forgetting who's the president, him or Kamala.
A May 2023 letter reviewed by Just the News that his department deployed nearly 1,500 officers and personnel from more than a dozen components to the Jan. 6 scene. Contee provided a list of every officer who responded, their rank and their normal assignment.
Just the News continues to review the footage from the surveillance unit cameras. In addition to the discussion about Antifa, the footage clearly show MDP officers exhorting some of the rioters to climb scaffolding near the Capitol.
This summer Just the News reported on a video circulating the online platform Rumble that seemed to show a group of plainclothes MPD officers exhorting the crowd gathered in front of the Capitol to climb scaffolding. The MPD officers are seen gathering just outside of the crowd and then infiltrating the protest.
As the officers approached the Capitol steps, one MPD officer can be heard shouting “Go! Go! Go!” and “Help him up!” encouraging those around him to climb the scaffolding outside the Capitol.
Loudermilk, R-Ga., confirmed to Just the News in June that MPD told Congress that the department had plainclothes officers in the crowd that day.
“We know that it is one of their officers, and at one point he is encouraging, and it appears he's encouraging, he’s definitely helping people climb the scaffolding, and he's telling them 'go, go, go,'” Loudermilk told the Just the News, No Noise television show in June.
“Why is an officer encouraging people to climb the scaffolding and go into the Capitol? And secondly, why did the MPD Metropolitan Police support department decide to put undercover officers in the crowd? Was there intelligence that they had that was or was not passed on to the Capitol Police and what did the Capitol police do with that evidence, if they got it?” he added.
Other surveillance video shows more lapses in security.
For instance, security footage obtained by Just the News this summer showed a door on the West side of the Capitol was left open and unguarded during key moments of the riot, allowing more than 300 people to enter the building unhindered as officers fought to hold back the crowds outside the building.
Last week, Just the News also reported on security footage that shows a group of unidentified individuals delivering and hauling in materials and building the infamous wooden gallows on the National Mall. No MPD or Capitol Police interfered or questioned the individuals during construction of the gallows which remained standing throughout the protests that day.
Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene, R-Ga., pressed along with Loudermilk for months for Congress to release all Capitol Police security footage from Jan. 6, a request that new House Speaker Mike Johnson finally approved this month. Greene said Tuesday she believes the MPD bodycam footage should also be released in its entirety to the public, saying it raises important questions for lawmakers still to resolve.
"We all know that undercover police have an important job, and an important role in investigations," she told the Just the News, No Noise television show Tuesday night. "But my question is if the DC police and other law enforcement had been going undercover into Antifa, why haven't they stopped Antifa for all these years?"
She added the footage published Tuesday by Just the News makes her only more determined to fight for a new Select Committee to be appointed by Johnson to investigate the Jan. 6 tragedy, saying a Democrat-run committee that finished its work a year ago engaged in a "coverup" when it came to probing intelligence and security failures by police agencies.
"I think we were owed answers. And I want our new speaker, Mike Johnson, to set up a new special committee to investigate the original January 6 committee. I want Nancy Pelosi subpoenaed, and I want answers from her as well as different federal federal agencies and DC police," she said. "America deserves the truth."
