Nordic Skiing Trailblazers Youth Nordic Ski Program January - February 2024! Sign Up Today!

Bear Valley, CA...Trailblazers is a youth nordic ski program designed to teach cross country skiing through activities, games, and adventure. Trailblazers run for 8 weeks over January and February, offering weekly Friday and/or Sunday PM sessions.







The program is suitable for first-timers through experienced XC skiers. The program is appropriate for skiers aged 9-13, so it would be the best fit for 4th through 7th graders falling within that age range.

We boast year-round offerings from world-class recreation to a well-stocked store with outdoor equipment, clothing, fuel, and more. Our friendly and knowledgeable staff are excited to outfit, rent, sell, and provide insights on anything you might need for your next adventure in Bear Valley and beyond.

65 kilometers of carefully groomed trails for traditional cross country, skate skiing, and snowshoeing

Meadow Cafe featuring alpine cuisine, open daily during winter

Four trail-side warming huts

Our elevation of 7,100 feet to 7,800 feet guarantees first to open (usually mid-November) and last to close (usually mid-April) status among Sierra Nevada cross country centers.
