Highway Lane Closures Next Week on Hwys 12, 26 & 49

Calaveras County, CA...The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) will perform various lane closures on State Route 12 (SR-12), SR-26 and SR-49 for maintenance and construction operations. Work to occur as follows;





STATE ROUTE 12
• Moving closure from San Joaquin/Calaveras County line to SR-49 for striping operations beginning Tuesday, February 20, through Thursday, February 22, 2024, from 9:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m.

STATE ROUTE 26
• One-way traffic control from Higdon Road to North Fork Mokelumne River Bridge for utility work on Friday, February 23, 2024, from 8:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m.

STATE ROUTE 49
• Left and Right shoulder closures on SR-49 from Six Mile Creek to Centennial Road for utility work beginning Wednesday, February 21, through Friday, February 23, 2024, from 8:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m.

Motorists should expect five to 10-minute delays. Alternate routes should be taken whenever possible. This work is scheduled to begin as listed, but is subject to change due to traffic incidents, weather, availability of equipment, and/or materials and construction related issues.
