Chain Controls on Hwys 88, 4 & 108 this Morning. Yosemite Reservations Required Feb., 24 & 25

[IN THE CENTRAL CALIFORNIA AREA]
Chains are required on all vehicles except 4-wheel-drive vehicles with snow tires on all 4 wheels from Cottage Springs (Calaveras Co) to the Jct of SR 207 (Alpine Co)
Please research chain control locations as caltrans is currently working to update chain control descriptions for consistency with internet mapping, like google maps & mapquest.

[IN THE CENTRAL CALIFORNIA AREA & SIERRA NEVADA]
Chains are required on all vehicles except 4-wheel-drive vehicles with snow tires on all 4 wheels from Ham's Station (Amador Co) to 3.5 mi east of Woodfords (Alpine Co)
Chains are required on all vehicles except 4-wheel-drive vehicles with snow tires on all 4 wheels from 6.3 mi east of Ham's Station (Amador Co) to 1 mi west of Woodofords (Alpine Co)
