Murphys, CA...It was another idyllic day in Murphys yesterday. Small town America is alive, well & thriving based on the attendance, participation and community spirit that was on display during Irish Day. We try our best on events such as this to provide an archive of the event for those who could not attend, those that attended to relive & also as the years go by to be able to look back at the 2024 event. On Friday, President Biden was seen with cheat cards that had images of Ireland’s leaders along with pronunciation guides and other jotted-down notes while he and an Irish official discussed topics at the White House.
The cards were accidentally shown to the cameras by the 81-year-old Commander-in-Chief during a meeting with Irish Prime Minister Leo Varadkar in the Oval Office.
It is entirely normal for a president to be briefed on reporters who will be asking questions at a press conference and issues that we expect they might ask about,” White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre said, standing up for Biden.
*** Additionally, Biden has been spotted holding cards that provide precise instructions on where he is supposed to stand and if he is supposed to smile or frown, etc.

Except for the cleanup.
The town is trashed.
It would be nice if the people who sponsor this event also take on the responsibility for cleaning up the town the next day.
