Don't Put Away That Snow Shovel Just Yet! Another Round of Storms This Weekend!

Arnold, CA...After a few days of beautiful weather Mother Nature will be doing her best to make prolong the start fire season and will be putting a bit more moisture in our vegetation this weekend. Snow levels will start at the 8,000 ft level but may drop down to the 4,000 foot level on Saturday Night. Detailed forecasts for the West Slope & Mother Lode from the National Weather Service are below...

West Slope Northern Sierra Nevada
Today
Mostly sunny. Warmer. Highs 52 to 67 higher elevations... 64 to 74 lower elevations. Prevailing east winds up to 10 mph shifting to the west in the afternoon.
Tonight
Mostly clear. Lows 32 to 47 higher elevations...44 to 56 lower elevations. Prevailing northwest winds up to 10 mph shifting to the east after midnight.
Thursday
Mostly sunny. Highs 53 to 68 higher elevations... 65 to 75 lower elevations. Prevailing east winds up to 10 mph shifting to the southwest in the afternoon.

Mostly clear. Lows 32 to 47 higher elevations... 44 to 54 lower elevations. Prevailing southwest winds up to 10 mph shifting to the southeast after midnight. Over ridges, prevailing southwest winds 10 to 25 mph.

Mostly sunny in the morning, then mostly cloudy with a chance of rain showers and a slight chance of thunderstorms in the afternoon. Windy.
