Angels Camp, CA...The Angels Camp Business Association held a very informative meeting on Monday night at Camps. The Angels Camp Police Department's Crime Prevention Officer Kathy Maxwell gave a very nice presentation on what retail businesses can do to lower their risk of Holiday Crime. She talked about what are the favorite items to steal, what types of crimes are most prevalent including: Smash and Grab, Ram Raiding, Shoplifting, Burglary and more...

She also gave tips on how to secure your business, make sure you don't leave money in the cash register and close the door, leave some lights on so Law Enforcement can see into the building and more.
She also talked about reducing your Bad Check exposure, lowering your risk of taking fake or altered currency and credit card fraud.
If you own a business the attached hour long video of her presentation should offer you some great tips.
