Angels Camp, CA.....St. Nicholas Came to Town at the St. Gabriel Orthodox Church in Angels Camp. St. Gabriel Orthodox Church held its fourth annual open house celebration that taught young and old about the true tradition of St. Nicholas. For the second year Mary Howell has directed the Nativity Play performed by twenty children. The nativity play was the story of St. Nicholas and the Orthodox Faith.....

"This play teaches the children to listen and follow directions. But most importantly they do a wonderful job and I am very proud of all of them," said Mary. Guests got a free photo with St. Nicholas and enjoyed refreshments, storytime and gold chocolate coins.
"I have been an angel for two years," shared seven-year-old Shannon Woodside. Shannon also shared that she had a lot of fun being in the play and she thought it was really easy to learn her lines.
