500 Luminaries Light Up The Cedar Center for Their Annual Christmas Tree Lighting ~By Kim Hamilton

Arnold, CA....500 luminaries lined the streets of the Cedar Center in Arnold for their Annual Winter Lights Celebration. All awaited the grand ole' Christmas Tree Lighting with cheer. Santa arrived on Fire Engine for all the kids to see. Christmas Carolers sang with glee. The shops were open for your shopping enjoyment. There were refreshments and treats for all. The children had a wonderful time making smores and roasting apples. This truly is a community holiday celebration. Video of this fantastic event enclosed....

This was one of the nicest tree lighting's in our whole area. The Avery Middle School Band serenaded the crowd and in a humorous note many of you may know that the tradition is for Santa to arrive aboard a Ebbetts Pass Fire District Fire Truck.

This year Santa arrived very quickly. As they were bringing Santa they received a call so they rolled into Cedar Center with full lights and siren and Santa unloaded in a hurry.

This was a great community event so make plans for next year to make sure you attend.
