Oktoberfest at the Metropolitan
San Andreas, CA...Guten Tag! We hope you will join us on October 12, 2019 for our Oktoberfest featuring authentic German cuisine, plenty of beer, costume contest, vendors, music and dancing! Doors open at 3:00 pm. Open to all ages! Tickets are $15 at the door, and children un-der 5 get in free! Contact us at 209-754-555

Originally a hotel, the historic Metropolitan was built at the base of Main Street in 1859. A fire consumed the building in 1926, and in its place a movie theater was constructed in the early 1950s. It was later renovated as a dining hall and performance venue.

Rumor has it that Mark Twain found his inspiration for The Jumping Frog right in the Metropolitan’s luxurious bar-room.
