Older Adult Outreach & Volunteer Training
Do you enjoy reading, going to see movies and plays, working puzzles, playing games, or creating arts and crafts? Would you be interested in sharing these activities with isolated individuals? The Older Adult Outreach and Engagement Program is seeking volunteers to partner with Senior Citizens in Calaveras and Tuolumne Counties and will hold a volunteer training on Saturday, February 26th from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm at the Calaveras County Senior Center in San Andreas. Volunteers are asked to meet with their Partner just one hour a week and all arts & crafts supplies are provided.

Skier/Boarder Cross Race at Bear Valley
This elimination style group race through a course featuring both natural terrain and human-made features like jumps, rollers and banks. Open to skiers and snowboarders, the “Cross” has been an Olympic sport since 2006 and is a popular spectator experience. Advanced registration opens Feb 14 at Bear Valley. Same day registration from 8:30-11:30 am Feb 26, in the main lodge at Bear Valley Mountain. Time Trials from 10-noon. Finals from 1-3pm.
